A corporate accountant is responsible for preparing financial statements and overseeing budget and forecasting. They provide suggestions to support the company’s decision making. A Corporate accountant gathers financial data and ledger and analyzes financial statements and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares documents, reports and presentations for executives and board members using advanced software proficiencies
- Prepares the monthly financial accounts for the Corporate entity
- Allocates funds for each department including supplies, hiring, investments and other departmental needs.
- Prepares annual statutory accounts and manages annual audits
- Cooperates with senior leaders to create operating budgets and initiates financial planning
- Provides advice to the senior management team and shareholders
- Performs risk assessments and financial forecasting
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years experience in Accounting/Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
- Extensive knowledge about corporate accounting
- Experience with financial reporting requirements
- Knowledge about MS office, excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- SAP experience is a plus
