The Management Trainee helps individuals in gaining knowledge and experience required for advancement to higher-level management positions within the company. He/She works to understand operations and procedures by performing assigned projects and responsibilities throughout various banking departments including financial analysis, customer service, human resource management, and growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with immediate supervisor and/or training representative to create a personal job training schedule
- Reviews training outline with the department manager of each assignment to ensure optimum training opportunities
- Engages in assigned training projects
- Prepares and presents written reports for department managers and training representatives on each phase of training
- Participates in frequent performance reviews
- Actively participates in trainee development meetings and/or conferences; leads designated discussion groups
- Enrolls in applicable courses at a regional training center for the American Institute of Banking
- Acts in the place of an absent employee if necessary
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Management
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company
- Knowledge of current industry trends
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask work
Skills needed for this role
The Management Trainee must have strong written, verbal, and presentation skills and the proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. He/She must have customer focused and quality conscious and planning and Analytical abilities.
