The Project Assistant carries out administrative duties by collecting data, sorting, filing and sending out project files to the right personnel, workers, and stakeholders. He/She supervises projects in progress and ensures that all issues related to the projects are clarified and completed to avoid confusion and interruption during execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with the project manager and team to maximize productivity
- Collaborates with the whole project team, contributing to the entire project lifecycle
- Organizes and monitor schedules and see that deadlines are met
- Coordinates efforts within the team and with outside consultants efficiently
- Reports updates verbally and in written form to management
- Monitors budget and help ensure resources are used efficiently
- Helps discern requirements and assign tasks to team members
- Completes any necessary administrative tasks, such as research and email
- Demonstrates commitment to clients’ needs and confidentiality continuously
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration
- Proven work experience as a Project Assistant for more than 3 years
- Knowledge in government processes
- Knowledge in office software packages (MS Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of the industry
