Administrative Manager

Administrative managers oversee the work of other administrative and clerical staff while also providing such duties themselves. Administrative managers help organize schedules, manage payroll and personnel databases, create reports, and offer other clerical duties. This role also requires a significant amount of communication and coordination with other staff and departments, including senior-level officials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day facilities operations including supervising the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, purchasing office supplies, furniture, office equipment etc. for staff
  • Collaborates with all management staff to identify and deliver the required administrative support operations for the organization
  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees
  • Ensures the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company
  • Supervises the revision of rules, regulations, and procedures to meet changes in law and policy
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned including supporting corporate compliance team as needed
  • Consults with operating officials on program plans in relation to fiscal capacity

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Office administration and other related programs, Master’s degree is preferred
  • More than 3 years of experience as Administrative Supervisor
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong familiarity with office communication tools, such as Microsoft Outlook and modern phone systems
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn to use office equipment, such as fax machines and copiers

Skills needed for this role

The Administrative Manager performs the responsible supervisory and professional administrative work in directing and coordinating all unit activity. The individual must have advanced administrative ability and supervisory experience. The work requires behavioral and conceptual skills, ability to motivate others, and role clarity. The Administrative Manager is adaptable, flexible and creative, exercising good judgment in problem solving and unusual occurrences.
