Business Analyst is responsible for the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments. Business Analysts would identify problems and opportunities within a company and ultimately provide solutions that help achieve the business’ goals. Business Analysts will collaborate with financial reporting and IT teams to develop initiatives and strategies that optimize costs and improve internal and external reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluates business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
- Leads ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
- Stays up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
- Conducts meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
- Performs requirements analysis
- Documents and communicates the results of your efforts
- Communicates insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
- Gathers critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produces useful reports
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Experience leading and developing top-performing teams
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects
Skills needed for this role
Business Analysts must have advanced technical skills, excellent documentation skills. She/He must have fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills and excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Career Level
A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
