The Porter is primarily responsible for the cleaning and housekeeping of a building. He/She conducts routine rounds of rooms and facilities, where they sweep, mop, or vacuum floors, scrub walls and windows, and remove garbage. He/She also does minor repairs and takes on quick tasks, from transporting items to restocking supplies.

Skills needed for this role
The Porter must have knowledge of how to use guest booking software platforms. He/She must have familiarization with the essential security regulations and great verbal communication skills to interact well with other employees, guests and service providers.
