The Production Worker helps assemble and prepare products for shipment. His/Her duties include placing raw materials or products into manufacturing machines to aid the assembly process, packaging finished products and organizing them for shipments and completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production
Key Responsibilities
- Monitors the assembly line and removes faulty products.
- Monitors the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment
- Stores goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse
- Inspects finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
- Works on the production line and meeting production targets.
- Maintains proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses
- Moves materials or completed products and packages to established locations
- Uses lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders
- Communicates effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
- Inspects assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Educational Diploma.
- More than 3 years of experience as a Production Worker or similar role
- Experience operating manufacturing machinery.
- Sharp attention to detail in favor of identifying defects
- Physical dexterity.
- Available for shift work
Skills needed for this role
The Production Worker must possess physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time. He/She must possess the physical dexterity necessary to assemble small and delicate product parts. Having knowledge of the structure and function of production equipment is also essential for this role.
