Program Administrator

The Program Administrator plans, directs and coordinates a particular program or service of an organization. He/She coordinates operations and people for various programs in our organization. He/She also manages budgets, recruits staff and establishes policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages and demonstrates ownership of all aspects of each assigned partner/client/contract
  • Reviews and monitors status of budgets and communicates to appropriate program staff
  • Ensures organizational standards and guidelines are met
  • Coordinates and prepares financial reports to restricted donors, ensuring donor requirements are met
  • Contacts relevant vendors or service providers needed for the project
  • Executes on assigned portions of outreach strategic plan
  • Supervises the staff and monitors their work, as well as coaching and mentoring them in their daily duties
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations for each program
  • Monitors agreement-related accounts to ensure payments are adequate and correct

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • An Associate’s degree in business administration, office management or a field related to the industry
  • Proven work experience as a Program Administrator
  • Knowledge of the philosophy, mission, leadership, and planning needs of the organization preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Platform and Zoom
  • Highly organized with attention to detail

Skills needed for this role

The Program Administrator must possess strong time management and prioritization skills and the ability to manage a team and establish cooperative working relationships. He/She must possess good written and verbal communication skills as well as problem-solving and decision-making skills.
