Project Assistant

The Project Assistant carries out administrative duties by collecting data, sorting, filing and sending out project files to the right personnel, workers, and stakeholders. He/She supervises projects in progress and ensures that all issues related to the projects are clarified and completed to avoid confusion and interruption during execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with the project manager and team to maximize productivity
  • Collaborates with the whole project team, contributing to the entire project lifecycle
  • Organizes and monitor schedules and see that deadlines are met
  • Coordinates efforts within the team and with outside consultants efficiently
  • Reports updates verbally and in written form to management
  • Monitors budget and help ensure resources are used efficiently
  • Helps discern requirements and assign tasks to team members
  • Completes any necessary administrative tasks, such as research and email
  • Demonstrates commitment to clients’ needs and confidentiality continuously

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration
  • Proven work experience as a Project Assistant for more than 3 years
  • Knowledge in government processes
  • Knowledge in office software packages (MS Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of the industry

Skills needed for this role

The Project Assistant must have good communications and interpersonal skills, excellent analytical skills, great analytical skills and the ability to proactively address potential issues.
