Research Director

Market Research Director will be part of a team of passionate marketers and researchers who are determined to put the voice of consumers at the heart of businesses; Market research director will be responsible for the commercial development of several marketers. Market research director should take appropriate measures at all times to continue to exceed customer expectations and provide a first-class service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the complete design, organization and execution of market research projects
  • Responsible for translating business problems into concrete and feasible research projects
  • Prepares insightful reports based on the analysis made by the researchers and based on both quantitative and qualitative studies
  • Presents recommendations to customers and organizing creative customer workshops in which you, together with the customer team, convert insights and recommendations into concrete action plans
  • Identifies and actively initiate business opportunities with both existing customers and prospects
  • Drafts and presents strong proposals to customers
  • Responsible for an existing portfolio of accounts, but also for the further development of new accounts

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • A university degree preferably in communication, marketing, marketing research, business economics or economic psychology
  • Sound knowledge of the market research industry and research methodologies
  • Strong commercial skills with proven success – both in account development and customer acquisition
  • A strong customer network on specific market is a plus
  • Relevant agency side experience is required
  • Entrepreneurial and market-driven mind with strategic vision and focus

Skills needed for this role

Market Research Director must have good oral and written presentation skills, fluent in English, both oral and written, leadership and coaching qualities, active listening and critical thinking, high level of pro-activity, initiative, energy, enthusiasm and professionalism, and strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
