Team Leader

The Team Leader ensures a positive experience for the customer by coaching and managing other employees. He/She also assists with the execution of daily operations by overseeing staff training, team building exercises and performance reviews.He/She is well informed on the policies and expectations of the company and is usually promoted from within or has prior relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements a timeline to achieve targets
  • Provides leadership, support, and guidance to facility management
  • Develops a well designed and motivating evaluation program
  • Participates in the development of area strategic plans, goals, and objectives, ensuring alignment with those of the region, division, and company
  • Delegates tasks to team members
  • Participates in the implementation of divisional and company initiatives and strategies
  • Monitors team performance and report on metrics
  • Addresses customer concerns in reference to products, services rendered or employee interactions
  • Conducts training of team members to maximize their potential

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • An Associate’s degree in business administration, office management or a field related to the industry; Master’s degree in Business in preferred
  • Proven work experience as a Team Leader
  • Knowledge of the philosophy, mission, leadership, and planning needs of the organization preferred
  • Strong organizational skills to give the team direction
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple company initiatives and encourage coworkers to do the same

Skills needed for this role

The Team Leader must have a strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service. He/She must have experience analyzing company needs, employee development and goal setting. Having the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments is essential for this role.
