Field Engineer

The Field Engineer is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the equipment that is on the site. He/She is responsible for the testing machinery to make sure that it works and meets safety regulations. A few of the main duties of a field engineer are conducting research, installing new technologies, monitoring activities at the assigned area, and doing quality control work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates reports about the assigned site
  • Tests equipment to make sure it meets safety regulations
  • Monitors activities at the assigned site
  • Installs new technology at the assigned site
  • Maintains the equipment at the site
  • Conducts research at the assigned site
  • Assists in the preparation of a new site
  • Coordinates with other employees to maintain company equipment

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Degree in civil engineering or related engineering field
  • Roven work experience as a Field Engineer for more than 5 years
  • Ability to work in adverse weather and occasional overtime and weekend
  • Ability to interpret technical issues through the non-technical description provided by their customers
  • In depth knowledge of operating field-tech devices and instruments

Skills needed for this role

The Field Engineer must have excellent problem-solving skills, good communication skills, strong multitasking abilities and strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
