The Political Analyst conducts research on political processes and policies, predicts political, social, and economic trends and evaluates the cultures, values, and political ideologies of foreign governments. He/She uses qualitative and quantitative research methods to develop political theories and forecast political, economic, and social trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Researches on various political subjects
- Gathers various data and information from primary and secondary sources
- Researches and evaluates the effects of government laws and regulations on people and business
- Monitors and stays up to date with all the current events and important changes and trends
- Stays up-to-date with international happenings and trends
- Identifies, analyzes, measures and interpret findings
- Looks for trends based on data and insights
- Creates political theories based on your detailed research
- Raises public awareness about all the important and interesting political and social happenings
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Political Science, or relevant fields
Portfolio of a newscast or published articles will be a must
Proficiency in English
Thorough knowledge of using statistical analysis software and qualitative/quantitative research tools.
Highly organized and detail-oriented
